Ideas for life
M19 is an organisation that exists to ensure that people, in spite of their background, have access to great care and real choices to continue living a happy life in any care environment. As company we support care providers in improving and sustaining care rating including building the capacity of new leaders.
We have always believed with the correct approach; every care home and home care services have the potential to succeed – even those in challenging circumstances. Nothing should be a barrier to sustaining good and outstanding care.
M19 want to contribute positively to the lives of old people everywhere, not just in the area we serve. We design and develop slowly, ideas aimed at not only to help the elderly in care homes or those receiving care at home, but also to improve health and social care as a whole. These ideas address some of the most intractable challenges facing the elderly – including leaving their homes, choosing a care home or home care services, and the lack of quality care.
We- Innovate and Sustain
Holistic care can only be achieved and provided through innovation, determination, hard work and evidence-driven methods. In some areas, it could be about changing the way care is provided, or changing the way we think about training carers, leaders, managers and directors. For example, our sustained approach to management and leadership training and professional development is helping to embed good practice in care homes – for new managers and leaders right through to directors.
We believe as an organisation that impact can only be achieved through working in partnership with key stakeholders, such as governments and health and social care organisations, as well as community members. Working in partnership will also allow us to extend our impact to other aspects of care – spreading our expertise through initiatives designed to improve the entire health & social care industry.
